Woodridge Forest is nestled in the hills next to
Michaelhouse School.

We offer en suite accommodation with tea and coffee facilities and the freedom to choose your meals from a variety of nearby local facilities. The many coffee shops, restaurants and hotels in the area offer plenty of choice in Delicious Cuisine, from pizza and pasta, to sushi, pub grub or fine dining.

The KZN Midlands is full of talented artists bursting with creativity. Find furniture, fixtures and finishings, paintings, pottery and old world and modern décor, plants and garden art, shoes, hiking boots, hair accessories, hammocks, and many other knick-knacks and fun things to adorn yourself or your home.

Leisure

Take a bicycle ride along the picturesque country roads, or a more challenging mountain trails; try horse riding on a farm, or prove your skills with trout fishing at one of the nearby trout farms. There are white-water rivers for tubing and canoeing enthusiasts and the nearby Midmar Dam offers sailing opportunities, canoeing and swimming (if you are up to a challenge, try the Midmar Mile!). There are many opportunities for beautiful walks from Woodridge Forest, and more challenging hiking as we are just a short drive from the southern Drakensberg mountains. Swing through the indigenous forest of the Karkloof on a canopy tour, or relax at a spa for an afternoon of pure blissful treatment. Alternatively try your hand at the local 18-hole golf course!

At Woodridge Forest 11 we understand the importance of flexibility while exploring the Midlands Meander. We leave you free to choose your cuisine - pick ambiance that you fancy. Perhaps you enjoy the elegant and up-market ambiance of fine dining, or perhaps you prefer something a little more informal or pub-style or maybe you'd like to try both! It is up to you to choose what suits you and return to your room with a view when you have enjoyed what the Midlands has to offer!

There are many coffee shops and a coffee manufacturer who share their stories on how they make their coffee. The waffle house next to the second hand book store makes for a really relaxing afternoon in a beautiful garden setting, order a pizza and eat it under the trees next to jungle gyms and candle dipping creativity shops - easy to eat and entertain the kids at the same time … and afterwards you can make your own chocolates at the chocolate-dipping shop.
